Tamir Rice murder, ruled “reasonable” by experts

Somehow, Retired Florida police officer W. Ken Katsaris, a so-called expert, has concluded that rookie cop Timothy Loehmann shooting of Tamir Rice was justified. How Sway?

Currently, a county grand jury is looking at evidence from prosecutors to determine if criminal charges should be brought against Officer Timothy Loehmann and his training officer, Frank Garmback.

“This unquestionably was a tragic loss of life, but to compound the tragedy by labeling the officers conduct as anything but objectively reasonable would also be a tragedy, albeit not carrying with it the consequences of the loss of life, only the possibility of loss of career,” wrote W. Ken Katsaris, the Florida police officer who penned the latest report.
